Life Plus is a leading Healthcare and Recruitment provider. We're on the hunt for an experienced HR Manager who knows their stuff but keeps things practical and people-focused.
This is 25 - 32 hours per week role, offering consistency, flexibility, and a genuine opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing organisation. Based in our modern CBD office with onsite parking, this role offers both convenience and a great team environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Partnering with leaders to support a positive, productive, and engaged workforce
- Managing the full HR function, including employee relations and complex matters
- Overseeing employment contracts and ensuring compliance across documentation
- Leading recruitment and onboarding to attract and retain great people
- Managing HR-related claims and processes
- Supporting ongoing training and development initiatives
- Mediating and resolving workplace issues when they arise
- Driving culture, engagement, and continuous improvement across the organisation
What we're looking for:
- 3 -5 years' HR experience with strong generalist capability
- Sound knowledge of New Zealand employment law
- Calm, pragmatic, and confident in handling a range of people matters
- Experience with HRIS and reporting tools
- Strong attention to detail with a practical, solutions-focused mindset
- A professional who brings both capability and personality to the role
