People & Culture Advisor – Mount Maunganui

As a People & Culture Advisor you'll play a pivotal role partnering with our operational leaders across New Zealand delivering practical P&C advise and support in a fast-paced hands-on setting. You'll be visible on site building genuine relationships and providing high quality advice and support where it matters most.

What You'll Do:

• Provide expert P&C and ER advice to business leaders and employees
• Lead and support investigations disciplinary processes and performance management
• Prepare employment agreements variations and a range of P&C documentation
• Manage end-to-end recruitment campaign management including onboarding and offboarding functions
• Coach leaders to build capability in people management ER and best-practice
• Support workforce planning succession discussions and organisational development initiatives
• Contribute to policy development review and implementation
• Uphold safe work practices and support wellbeing initiatives
• Assist with engagement activities and business initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement across P&C processes systems and employee experience

What We're Looking For:

• At least 3 years’ experience in HR or employment relations
• Strong knowledge of NZ employment law and confident handling of ER issues
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage tough conversations
• Practical solutions-focused approach with strong admin and computer skills
• Relevant HR or employment relations qualification
