Description

(Junior) Recruitment Consultant

We are seeking a motivated (Junior) Recruitment Consultant to join our team from January 2026. This is an initial 6-month fixed-term role, with the potential to become permanent based on performance.

You’ll be working closely with our experienced team, sourcing candidates, speaking with clients, and supporting the full recruitment process from start to finish.

About You:

  • No recruitment experience necessary - training provided!
  • Beneficial previous experience in customer service, sales, business development, admin, HR support or similar
  • Beneficial work experience within an operational workforce (construction, logistics, manufacturing)
  • Strong English communication and interpersonal skills – enjoy talking to people
  • Confident team-player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Organised, proactive, and able to prioritise tasks during a busy day
  • Full Class 1 licence (restricted minimum) is ideal for client and site visits
  • Right to work in New Zealand

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Build relationships with candidates and clients through phone calls, emails, and meetings
  • Carry out cold calls to generate new business opportunities - build your own portfolio and area of expertise
  • Proactively source and engage potential candidates using various tools, platforms, networking and referrals
  • Conduct phone, video and face-to-face interviews and assess candidate suitability
  • End-to-end Recruitment – be involved / responsible for the whole recruitment process
  • Manage job adverts, applications, and recruitment administration
  • Prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attend client meetings and site visits
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal processes
