The Role:

A Recruitment Consultant requires a proactive approach to sales and networking, consistently seeking new clients while nurturing existing relationships for repeat business and long-term success. Your expertise in both recruitment and relationship management will allow you to be a key advisor to your clients, positioning yourself as the go-to specialist within a specialised industry sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Drive new business opportunities and expand your client base through proactive outreach and networking.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, understanding their recruitment needs, and delivering tailored staffing solutions.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and headhunting, to source and engage candidates.
  • End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment process, from job description creation and candidate sourcing to interviewing, offering, and onboarding.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in recruitment or a sales-driven role, preferably within blue-collar industries (construction, trades, manufacturing, logistics, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and candidates quickly.
  • A highly motivated, target-driven, and resilient individual.
  • A passion for working with people and finding the right fit for both candidates and clients.
  • Willing to go the extra mile - Recruitment is not a typical 8-5 job! It requires dedication, flexibility, and a willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of both clients and candidates.
