As our North Island operations continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced or motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our Petone-based team.
The Role This position combines business development, relationship management, and end to end recruitment delivery. You will work closely with clients across Warehousing and Manufacturing and labour sectors, providing practical recruitment solutions and building long term partnerships. Success in this role comes from a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing client relationships
- Manage client requirements and deliver tailored recruitment solutions
- Source, screen, and interview candidates using a variety of channels
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job brief through to placement and onboarding
- Act as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates
About You
- Previous experience in recruitment or a sales focused role (blue-collar industry experience preferred but not essential)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport quickly and manage relationships professionally
- Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working to targets
- Willing to be flexible and committed when role demands require it
