Location: Whanganui Type: Full-time, Permanent Pay Range: $38 - $45 Hours: Guaranteed 30 hours
We are seeking a skilled and analytical Manufacturing Systems Integration Analyst to support and improve the digital systems that power our manufacturing environment.
The Role: As an Manufacturing Systems Integration Analyst, you will analyse existing business processes and digital systems, translate requirements into functional solutions, and support system improvements across the manufacturing plant. You will act as a key link between operational users, technical providers, software developers, and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with users and managers to gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements
- Review and improve workflows across quoting, design, job release, production planning, machining, assembly, dispatch, and service
- Identify system inefficiencies, manual workarounds, and data integrity issues
- Analyse how machinery, production software, and ERP systems interact and recommend improvements
- Develop functional specifications, workflow documentation, and system process models
- Support system implementation, testing, deployment, and user acceptance testing
- Create system documentation, user procedures, and training materials
- Deliver training and guidance to staff on system use and workflow controls
- Support project planning activities including timelines, testing stages, and deployment priorities
- Monitor system performance and ensure solutions remain scalable and fit for purpose
- Maintain documentation of system architecture, workflows, and integration logic
- Act as a central reference point for system-related projects and operational decision-making
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A relevant tertiary level qualification and
- At least 1 year of post-study work experience in the manufacturing industry, including:
- o Analysing business requirements, data flows and process dependencies
- o Developing functional system solutions
- o Communication and collaboration between stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Desirable experience includes:
- Odoo ERP or similar enterprise systems
- Manufacturing systems, MES-style workflows, or factory process integration
- Machine connectivity, production data mapping, APIs, or workflow automation
- CNC, cabinetry, industrial equipment, or automated manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with HOMAG machinery and software (STORETEQ, CENTATEQ, EDGETEQ, LOOPTEQ, DRILLTEQ)
