Your new role:
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building and optimising scalable data pipelines within a cloud based environment. You will work closely with data analysts, architects and business stakeholders to deliver high quality, reliable data solutions in a highly regulated banking environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust data pipelines using Snowflake
- Build and orchestrate workflows using Airflow
- Optimise and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions
- Ensure data quality, governance and compliance within banking standards
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions
- Support migration and enhancement of legacy data platforms
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer
- Strong banking or financial services experience is essential
- Advanced experience with Snowflake
- Strong hands on experience with Airflow
- Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
- Strong understanding of data modelling and ETL principles
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
