Your new role As Chief Digital and AI Officer, you will lead a multi-year transformation programme focused on digital modernisation, advanced data enablement and AI adoption at scale. A key priority will be the design and delivery of a modern data platform that unlocks advanced analytics, predictive insights and improved operational capability. You will partner with the CEO, Board, CIO and senior leaders to shape and execute a strategic roadmap that lifts service excellence, enhances workforce capability and positions the organisation for long-term digital success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an enterprise-wide digital, data and AI strategy
• Lead the design and delivery of a modern data platform
• Champion a culture of digital and data innovation and continuous improvement
• Partner with the CEO, Board, CIO and executive peers on transformation priorities
• Ensure best practice cyber security and compliance in partnership with the CIO/CISO
• Build organisational capability in AI, analytics, digital skills and governance
• Leverage data to enhance efficiency, accuracy and innovation across services
• Lead a high-performing digital and data function through coaching, development and clear direction
• Manage the digital transformation budget, balancing OPEX and CAPEX investments
• Collaborate across operational and corporate functions to ensure digital solutions enhance service capacity and workforce performance

Requirements

• Proven experience leading large-scale digital or technology transformations
• Strong background in digital strategy, AI, data platform modernisation and innovation
• Experience modernising enterprise systems and driving cloud enablement
• Skilled at communicating complex technology strategies at Board and executive level
• Collaborative, people-focused leadership style with strong execution discipline
• Deep understanding of how digital and data systems create value in health or complex service environments
• Tertiary qualification in technology, computing, business or related field (MBA desirable)
