Are you ready to take your career to the next level in 2026? ANZCO Foods is looking for a dynamic and experienced IT Operations Manager to join our high-performing technology team. This is a rare opportunity to be part of one of New Zealand's largest exporters, where you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing our digital presence and improving customer engagement. Reporting to our Head of Technology, this position is responsible for the delivery of IT operation services across the ANZCO Foods Group in New Zealand and overseas, including networks, infrastructure, end-user devices, servers, and a 24/7 service desk, while leading a technical team to ensure system availability and continuous service improvement. Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Leadership of IT Operations team, building a high-performing, accountable team that delivers reliable services in a fast-paced environment.
- Oversee incident, problem, and change management whilst driving continuous improvement of the ITSM function.
- Manage and maintaining the security, stability, and resilience of the IT system through strong policy frameworks, access controls, and proactive risk management.
- Responsibility for IT operations budgeting, cost optimisation, and vendor management, ensuring value for money and optimal service delivery.
- Provide regular operational reporting, ensuring accurate, timely operational reports with actionable insights on service performance, infrastructure health, incident trends and align the future IT operating environment with the ANZCO Foods strategic direction.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, direct reports and the wider team, maintaining strong relationships with key business stakeholders. Skills and Experience we are looking for:
- ITIL (or equivalent) certified with experience delivering high-quality operational services.
- Ability to effectively coordinate service delivery, change, and incident management across multiple business units in a global enterprise setting.
- Strong experience producing accurate management reports using data analysis.
- A confident leader with excellent management skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical mindset with solid project management, planning, and prioritisation capabilities.
- In depth understanding of technology, IT architecture, and business needs (Food & Fibre industry experience advantageous).
