We are regular supplier of IT Products to over 500+ Schools of New Zealand supplying Chromebooks, iPads, MacBook’s, Laptops, Desktops, Gaming Machines. We also repair over 100+ devices/each month of 100+ Schools and 20+ Government organization and 30+ companies of Major brands- fixing their iPhones, Samsung, Chromebooks, iPads, MacBook’s and Laptops. We also supply major IT equipment’s to Pacific Island nations such as Fiji, Samoa etc.
We are seeking for an IT Technician | Computer Engineer, who will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT hardware in a warehouse environment while ensuring smooth order processing for clients and customers.
*Role : IT Technician | Computer Engineer. (Job code :313111) *Industry-standard pay plus commission and sales incentives. *Working Hours: 30-45 hours per week, weekend work required. *Location: TIMARU, Most suits Local and we prefer local resident. *Job Type: Full-time
Qualifications & Experience:
- A New Zealand Certificate in Information Technology and Computing (Level 3 minimum) or an equivalent overseas qualification is required.
- Alternatively, 1–2 years of relevant experience may substitute for the above qualification.
- Possession of CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications is advantageous and preferred.
Job Description:
As a Hardware Technician, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT hardware in a warehouse environment while ensuring smooth order processing for clients and customers.
Key responsibilities include: *Processing incoming stock of laptops, MacBooks, iPads, and IT devices. *Installing and maintaining MacBooks, laptops, iPads, PCs, printers, and modems. *Identifying software and hardware requirements to resolve technical issues. *Providing telephonic and remote support for new and existing customers. *Ensuring the efficient use of applications and equipment while prioritizing client needs. *Implementing and troubleshooting computer networks. *Providing technical support and on-site troubleshooting for servers and workstations. *Adapting to new hardware and software for workplace and on-site use. *Performing routine inspection, testing, and repair of smartphone screens (iPhone, Samsung) and other mobile devices.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 1-2 years relevant experience OR a relevant Level 5 or higher tertiary qualification.
- Proven experience and knowledge in repairing and maintaining of all audio-visual equipment Having high skills in repairing iPhones, Samsung phones, iPads , MacBook and Laptops.
- Strong knowledge of the ICT industry, including the latest software and hardware developments
- Strong technical ability to provide L2 support Proven ability to work well in a team and to train junior team members
- Strong verbal and written skills, and an excellent attention to detail Good at identifying problems and troubleshooting hardware issues.
- Able to work independently and compatibility to work on weekends.
- Available for Immediate start.
