What you’ll do | Hei mahi

You’ll basically come to work to play with the latest and greatest tools and techniques!!!  Apart from developing high quality, scalable and performant solutions, you’ll work right across the lifecycle from design through to deployment.

We have a highly collaborative and hybrid work environment, so you’ll form awesome relationships with testers, product owners, business analysts, and third parties - no two days are ever the same!We will expect you to help support our systems in production by being part of our on-call roster.

What you’ll bring | Hei koha

You’ll be collaborative and communicate well with different teams and stakeholders.

You’ll bring deep experience with

  • The Microsoft tech stack including C#.NET and SQL.
  • Microservice architecture and practical experience with Kubernetes.
  • React or Angular.
  • Entity Framework, Restful and GraphQL API design skills.
  • CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub
  • The agile methodologies such Scrum and Kanban.
  • Git, GitHub Flow or trunk based development.
  • Strong observability concepts using tools like DynaTrace, App Insights or similar.
  • Understanding of non functional aspects e.g. performance, accessibility, code coverage and shift-left.

You will also have broad exposure to design patterns and principles such as SOLID, DDD and CQRS and contribute to the great work our technology teams do that directly impacts New Zealanders every single day!  Why wouldn’t you apply?
