Job Description

At Hall’s, we’re embarking on an exciting digital transformation with an ambitious roadmap to deliver first-choice digital experiences for our customers and our people. Data is central to this journey. We’re looking for someone who can help shift the organisation from manual, reactive processes to a more automated, proactive, and insight-driven future. This role will build the data foundations needed to enable that shift and lead the programme of work that introduces AI, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making across the business.

The Data Engineering & Integration Manager will design and deliver modern data and integration solutions, focusing on improving data quality, reporting, and system connectivity. Working closely with technology and business teams, you’ll turn data into actionable insights, reduce manual effort, and enable smarter decision-making through a blend of strategic planning and hands-on delivery.

Qualifications

Essential *Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience. *5+ years’ experience in data engineering, analytics, or related technical roles. *Strong hands-on experience with data architecture, integration, and governance. *Proven ability to build reporting, dashboards, and analytics that deliver clear business insights. *Experience with APIs, modern integration patterns, and cloud-based data platforms. *Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Preferred *Experience in logistics, transport, or operational environments. *Experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouses. *Exposure to automation, AI/ML enablement, or predictive analytics initiatives.
