As a Cybersecurity & Cloud Engineer, you will be at the forefront of securing Toyota’s hybrid and cloud infrastructure. You will embed security into every layer, from Azure Landing Zones and Microsoft 365 to Identity & Access Management, Purview DLP, and vulnerability management, ensuring Toyota NZ remains resilient, compliant, and future ready.

What You Will Do

• Monitor and respond to incidents across SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls, and IAM platforms.
• Design and implement secure-by-design controls across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Build automation and Infrastructure-as-Code using ARM, Terraform, and PowerShell.
• Manage Azure and M365 operations, backups, and disaster recovery frameworks.
• Deploy and tune Microsoft Purview DLP, supporting governance and data privacy.
• Partner with Toyota’s security vendors and AI/Data teams on emerging security and AI-driven defence technologies.

What You Will Bring

• 3–5+ years’ experience in cybersecurity or cloud engineering within enterprise environments.
• Practical expertise across Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Purview, and hybrid cloud security.
• Strong knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, NZISM, and CIS Controls.
• Hands on, proven ability to detect, analyse, and respond to threats under pressure.
• Collaborative mindset with strong technical troubleshooting and communication skills.
