Junior Application Support Analyst
Location: Auckland (office-based / hybrid as required) Employment type: Full-time – 40 hours per week (guaranteed)
ISOFT TECHNOLOGIES PVT LIMITED is an Auckland-based software and technology company delivering custom applications and digital platforms across New Zealand and Australia.
We are seeking a Junior Application Support Analyst to join our team in an entry-level, graduate-friendly role. Full training and supervision will be provided.
This position is ideal for candidates who have completed a Diploma in Engineering (Computer Science Engineering) or a closely related IT qualification and are looking to start their career in application and system support.
About the Role As a Junior Application Support Analyst, you will provide first-level application and system support for internal and client-facing software solutions. You will work closely with senior developers and technical leads, with structured on-the-job training and clear escalation pathways.
This is a genuine and ongoing role supporting live internal and client-facing software systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for software applications and systems
- Log, track, and manage support tickets using internal systems
- Perform basic troubleshooting of application, database, and system issues
- Escalate complex issues to senior developers or technical leads
- Assist with application testing, bug verification, and quality assurance tasks
- Support basic database checks and data validation under supervision
- Maintain technical documentation and user guides
- Follow established support procedures and workflows
Training & Supervision
- This is a fully supervised, entry-level role
- Structured training will be provided on:
- Company applications and systems
- Support tools and workflows
- Issue logging, troubleshooting, and escalation processes
- The role reports to a Senior Developer / Technical Lead
- Ongoing mentoring and skill development will be provided
About You
- Diploma in Engineering (Computer Science Engineering) or a closely related qualification in Computer Science / Information Technology
- Basic understanding of:
- Programming concepts
- Databases (DBMS fundamentals)
- Operating systems and computer networks
- Willingness to learn and work under supervision
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
No prior commercial work experience is required.
Academic projects, coursework, or internships are acceptable.
