About the Role

Looking for your next big opportunity? We’ve got an exciting IT Infrastructure Engineer role just for you! In this position, you will deliver Information Technology (IT) infrastructure services to design, operate, and secure our hybrid environment across on-prem and Cloud, supporting business applications, servers, databases, data networks, data storage, security, back-up and business continuity.

Providing infrastructure support for Servers; Storage Layer; Network Layer; Backups; Presentation Layer; Desktop Layer; Security Layer; Telephony. Monitoring, managing, and maintaining IT Infrastructure solutions in “On-Premises” and “Cloud” datacenters. Maintaining and repairing IT equipment in datacenters. Monitoring, managing, and maintaining cybersecurity solutions on workstations, servers and network devices. Providing overflow IT support for the Service Desk team. Providing infrastructure support to the Systems & Solutions team where required. Participating in after-hours On Call Roster. Participating in and providing support for IT Infrastructure projects. Qualifications and Skills

A degree or diploma in Information Technology is required. 3 – 5 years of practical experience in a high-performance commercial Good understanding of IT Infrastructure (servers, networks, storage). Good understanding of Microsoft Azure or AWS Cloud technologies. Proven experience implementing IT Infrastructure projects. Technical understanding of Server technologies in a Microsoft environment Exposure and experience with Virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper V. Good interpersonal skills to work in a small close-knit team environment and interacting with a diverse group of people.
