Description
We are looking for a capable resource who is customer friendly and customer focused and has a passion for desktop support and has experience with Cloud Technologies in Azure and Microsoft 365. This role will provide support onsite to end users desktop computing environment and will work with other second level desktop engineers.
IT Skills and Experience In-depth knowledge of: Windows OS (e.g. Windows 11) Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft 365 Administration Power Automate Microsoft Azure PC\Laptop hardware PC\Laptop peripherals, including printers Mobile device Experience and knowledge of: M365 Administration Active Directory Group Policies SCCM/Intune/MDM Exchange Routers/Switches/Wireless AP. Network Cabling Microsoft Power Automate
IT Qualifications At least one of the following (Microsoft Certification preferred): Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area or above. Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification Cisco’s CCNA or above.
Key Competency – Customer Focus and have previously worked with windows 10, Win 11 or have been involved in a transition project and have provided Level 2 support.
Key Tasks Provide exceptional customer service to Tech Planet’s clients and clients’ customers and maintain a customer is always right attitude. Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operation system and peripherals to ensure it runs correctly Respond to clients support requests. Contacting clients to find out the nature of the problem. Provide remote and onsite troubleshooting support to Tech Planet’s clients and clients’ customers. Provide Service Desk & deskside support through phone, email, ticketing tool and in person. Provide Administration and troubleshooting support using products and tools provided. Assemble hardware and install or delete software Recover any lost or accidentally deleted data Be familiar with network operating system Install and download appropriate software Conduct data migration and deploy SOE Connect and set up hardware Run basic diagnostic tests Provide individual training and support on request to customers Adapt existing programs to meet customer requirements Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate Install PCs and associated hardware Backup and restore software and data Run through diagnostics and application specific checks Your position description includes but is not limited to the tasks outlined. Candidates must have the right to work and live in New Zealand.
Part-time and full time hours between 15 - 37.5 hours per week
