Description
You should be able to do the following:
- Install and test fibre and copper network into homes and businesses
-Scoping both residential and business
-Wiring internal and external in both houses and offices
-Setting up and configuration of LAN for customers including their equipment to the specs and networking
-Connecting ONT device to existing LAN networks for network compatibility
-Blowing, hauling and splicing of both copper and fibre both mechanical and hand held tools
-Knowledgeable in copper fault finding and provisioning
-Knowledgeable in reading plans
-capable of doing build work and reinstatement
-Programming and configuring computer networks and fibre devices
-Testing, repairing and replacing faulty equipment with electronic tools
-Maintenance, testing and installation of cables/wires and aerials whilst making sure that they are
performing at their best levels on the network -Be able to work in confined spaces and able to perform civil and scoping work which may include concrete cutting and reinstating, thrusting and underground work. -Making sure that all network integrated machines, computers and fibre devices are network compatible, configured correctly and programmed correctly -Troubleshooting of fibre optic cable for internet and telephony -Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines -Maintain health and safety at all times -Installation of micro ducts and ducting -Exceptional customer service and customer interaction -Managing customer experience, escalations and complaints -Closing jobs everday
