Exciting new 2026 role! Join our Christchurch team as a Telecommunications Technician/Rigger delivering safe, high-quality network services.
Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
We're looking for a Telecommunications Technician/Rigger to join our Telecommunications team in Christchurch. This is a permanent, full-time role focused on delivering exceptional service and project outcomes for our customers.
You'll work on installation, commissioning, maintenance, and fault resolution for copper and fibre networks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and customer requirements. The role also involves supporting design and scoping activities, contributing to service improvements, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Mōu ake | About You
You're an experienced telecommunications technician with a positive attitude and a commitment to quality and safety. You'll bring:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in telecommunications (copper and/or fibre)
- NZQA Level 3 Telecommunications qualification or equivalent
- Ability to use jointing and fault-finding equipment and interpret plans
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A current Full NZ Driver's Licence
