Your new company: You'll be joining a major player in the insurance sector, delivering mission-critical solutions across claims, policy, and billing systems. It's a collaborative and high-performing tech environment with a strong focus on quality.
Your new role: You'll drive automation testing using BDD frameworks, scripting, and CI/CD tooling. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure robust quality assurance and provide guidance to junior team members.
Responsibilities:
- Build and execute automated tests using Ruby/Cucumber and Selenium
- Work within a BDD framework
- Conduct API testing using tools like SoapUI and Postman
- Contribute to context-based and risk-based testing strategies
- Use Jira, Confluence, Git, and Jenkins to support test planning and execution
- Mentor and support junior testers
Requirements:
- 5+ years in a senior testing role
- Strong experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
- Proficient in at least one programming language (Ruby, Java, Python)
- Automation testing experience with Selenium
- Familiar with API testing tools
- Experience in large, enterprise environments
- Insurance domain knowledge a bonus
- Clear verbal and written communication
