We’re a Waikato-based bespoke software startup building modern, custom web applications from the ground up. Our office is based in Cambridge, with flexibility to work in a hybrid remote and office environment.
We’re looking for an Intermediate–Senior Front-End / Full-Stack Developer to join our growing team and help deliver high-quality, bespoke software solutions for our clients. This is a great opportunity to get involved early, have real input, and work on meaningful projects built using modern technologies and practices.
The role involves developing and maintaining modern, scalable web applications, with a strong focus on front-end development using React, while also working across the stack where needed.
You’ll need:
- 5+ years commercial development experience
- Strong, hands-on experience with React
- Commercial experience using PHP
- Strong experience with MySQL / relational databases
- Solid JavaScript (and ideally TypeScript) fundamentals
- Experience building and consuming APIs
- Good understanding of responsive design and modern UI principles
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of your work
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, growing startup environment
Nice to have:
- Experience with modern tooling and frameworks
- Experience building applications from the ground up, without an existing codebase
