Maintenance Fitter

Pedersen Kinleith Limited is seeking to employ a suitable experienced and qualified Maintenance Fitter.

The Kinleith operation has a Debarking Plant, and a Chipping plant which is double shifted, offering the successful applicant a variety of work on both the Chipping Plant and the Debarker.

The successful applicant for this position will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Repair and maintenance of Heavy Industrial Equipment with exposure to Timber Processing plant an advantage
• Fabrication and welding skills
• Computer Literacy
• Strong Health and Safety focus
• Reliable and have the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a small team

The initial hours of work are Monday to Friday 10 hours per day and the appointee will be expected to work reasonable overtime on occasions.

Pedersens operate a drug and alcohol-free workplace and the successful applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment Medical including drug and alcohol test prior to any position be offered.
