BA Pumps & Sprayers is proud to be a New Zealand owned family business, established for over 30 years as NZ's number one manufacturer of NZ made high-quality sprayers and pumps for the agricultural, horticultural, viticultural, and industrial markets. Our manufacturing business continues to thrive in the industry, and we are now recruiting a reliable, Trade Qualified Fabricator/Welder with Machining experience to join our production team. Based at our modern, purpose-built premises at Hautapu, Cambridge, we require a person who has worked in a relevant mechanical field, or where those skills could be transferable to this role.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Experience with MIG, TIG a bonus
- Experience in machining
- Be physically fit for the purpose of the role
- To competently understand workshop drawings and to work from them to produce various products.
- Ability and knowledge to cut and bend fabrication materials and assist in all areas as training permits.
- A good work ethic and who can get along with others in a team environment
- Has a proactive attitude toward Health & Safety
- Able to problem solve and follow instructions
- Able to clearly communicate using the English language - verbally and written
- Currently live in NZ with no restrictions at all on working
