Description
Responsibilities:
- Setup twin screw extruder
- Programme extruder with correct parameters for daily production
- Operate extruder
- Monitor extruder parameters during production, troubleshoot when necessary
- Shutdown, clean and perform basic service on extruder at end of production
- Maintain and trouble shoot food processing machines
- Keep tidy production records
- Run mixing equipment and prepare ingredients based on daily production requirements
- Run other food processing machines as and when required
About You:
- Experience working in manufacturing/food preparation environment
- At least 3 years' experience working as a manufacturing machine technician.
- Experience operating a twin-screw extruder for snack or cereal manufacturing
- Have a good understanding of food hygiene
- Be mechanically / practical-minded
- Have good time management skills
- Have own transport
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be physically fit with the ability to easily lift up to 25kg
