We are currently looking for experienced Production Operators to join our growing team!

We have night shift opportunities available; 12 hour shifts - Monday to Thursday.

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:

• Experience operating filling machinery or similar production equipment within beverage or food manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain production equipment.
• Valid forklift operator license with proven safe operation experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment; or current NZ Drivers Licence with commitment to F endorsement.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping for production reporting and inventory tracking.
• Physical fitness to handle repetitive tasks and manual handling requirements.
• Good employment history on attendance, punctuality and reliability.
• Excellent work ethic and strong team player.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Willing to undergo Criminal History checks as part of the employment process

As a Production Operator, you'll play an integral role working within our production team to efficiently operate filling machinery, manage forklift operations, and perform packaging tasks contributing to the delivery of premium beverage products. Your role is key in ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards using state-of-the-art equipment from Krones and WestRock.

This will involve:

• Operate and monitor production equipment and filling machines to ensure consistent product quality, accurate and hygienic bottling/canning processes.
• Conduct routine equipment checks, cleaning, and minor maintenance to uphold operational efficiency and safety, maintain equipment and the production environment.
• Perform packaging and labelling duties, ensuring compliance with brand standards and quality controls.
• Safely operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished goods within the facility, maintaining workflow and inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to all safety and quality control procedures to meet strict industry standards and food hygiene regulations, promoting a safe work environment.
• Report production metrics and assist in troubleshooting to optimize line performance.
• Collaborate with the production, warehouse and maintenance teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production activities.
• Assist with inventory management and stock control as required.
