Rollformer Operator / Setter ?? Penrose, Auckland
We're on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Rollformer Operator / Setter to join a busy and growing manufacturing team based in Penrose. If you're mechanically minded, hands-on, and take pride in producing quality work, this could be a great fit for you.
In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating roll forming machinery to produce high-quality components to specification. You'll play a key part in ensuring production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust roll forming machines to meet production requirements
- Operate automated roll forming equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor output to ensure consistent quality standards
- Inspect finished products and make adjustments where needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or operational issues
- Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs
- Use hand tools and measuring equipment accurately
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets
About You
- Mechanically minded with a strong understanding of machinery
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Able to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Comfortable using hand tools and measuring equipment
- Team player with good communication skills
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience with roll forming or similar manufacturing processes (highly regarded)
- Exposure to automated or CNC machinery (preferred)
- Trade qualification in engineering, fabrication, or similar (advantageous)
