Machine Operator - Plastics

The successful applicant will need to be highly motivated and customer focused. You will be able to multitask and demonstrate a strong work record. The role is day shift, working 60 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Based at our factory in Otahuhu.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• To operate plastics machinery, injection and rotational moulding.
• Visually check product quality.
• To ensure all product is labelled and packed correctly.
• Accurately fill out all QC required production records.
• To ensure that working areas are always kept clean and tidy.
• To follow all rules and take precautions regarding safety and health in the workplace.
• Follow procedures when handling materials and operating equipment.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of how to operate machines is essential. Experience of working within the plastics industry on either injection or rotational moulding, would be beneficial. The role would suit someone who likes a challenge, has good communication skills, can read, and understand written procedures, is physically fit, and can accurately record machine output data.
