Description

Our client, a recognised textile manufacturer based in South Auckland and their products have been proudly New Zealand made for almost 70yrs.

They are a market leader providing ongoing staff training to meet unit standards, who provide increased knowledge and remunerations for their employees.

We are currently recruiting machine operators to join the afternoon shift team.

The hours are 2pm to 10pm from Monday to Friday. There is overtime during the week and on Saturday mornings available.

As you improve in the training to meet unit standards, your pay rate increases stage by stage.

Role:

  • Identifying product defects and taking appropriate action
  • Setting, maintaining and cleaning machines
  • Working closely with the department team to meet KPIs

Requirement:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Physically fit
  • Some machine operating experience
  • Worked with textiles previously
  • Understanding of colours
