Sonoco is a world-class provider of consumer and industrial packaging solutions, with over 120 years of industry experience. Our Henderson team is looking for an Entry Level Production Operator who's motivated, reliable, and ready to learn.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has recently completed Year 13 and is looking to start a hands-on, stable career in a safe and supportive environment.

About the Role

You will be trained to operate and maintain production machinery, ensuring products are manufactured safely, accurately, and efficiently. No manufacturing experience is required - just the right attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to doing the job well.

What You'll Do:

• Operate and monitor production machines
• Conduct quality checks and follow standard operating procedures
• Work closely with the team to meet production targets
• Identify basic issues and assist with troubleshooting
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines

What We're Looking For:

• Recently finished school (Year 13) or early in your career
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn hands-on skills
• Strong attention to detail and reliable work habits
• Good communication skills and the confidence to ask questions
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely
• Full NZ driver's licence required
• Forklift licence preferred (or willing to obtain one)
