Class 4/Class 2 Operator/Customer Service / Spotter / Recycling LabourerLocation: RotoruaEmployment Type: Regular hours leading to full-time employment.
About the Role:Enviro NZ is looking for a reliable and safety-conscious team member to support operations at our recycling and waste facility. This varied role involves class 2/class 4 experience, loaders, dump trucks, customer service, spotting vehicles, general recycling tasks, and labouring duties as directed by your supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Class 2/Class 4 Operator
- Greet and assist customers on-site in a friendly and professional manner
- Safely guide vehicles through the site as a spotter to prevent hazards or incidents
- Sort and separate recyclable materials as per site procedures
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Carry out general labouring tasks and follow instructions from supervisors
- Adhere to all Health & Safety and environmental regulations
What You’ll Need:
- Class 2 & Class 4, must have Road Ranger Gear Box experience.
- Wheels, Tracks and Rollers preferred
- A strong focus on health, safety, and teamwork
- Good communication skills and a helpful attitude
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual work
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in outdoor conditions
- Previous experience in waste, recycling, or labouring roles is an advantage
