Our client is seeking an experiencedHeavy Machine Operatorto join their team in Ashburton. This is a hands-on role suited to a reliable all-rounder who is confident operating a range of machinery and can work well within a crew. You will be involved in the construction of subdivisions, kerb and channel, while also contributing to projects such as roads, bridges and horizontal infrastructure.
About the Role:
- Operating diggers and loaders across a variety of tasks
- General earthworks, loading, site works, and material handling
- Assisting with labouring duties as required
- Maintaining machinery and following site safety procedures
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience operating diggers and loaders
- WTR required
- Strong understanding of safe operating practices
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work unsupervised
- Good attitude and team player
