We are currently working with several clients in the food manufacturing industry who are looking to add Production Assistants to their teams.
We're seeking candidates with previous manufacturing or production experience who are comfortable working on their feet for 8+ hours in a fast-paced environment.
This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to move into a permanent role for the right person.
About the Role: You'll be working in a factory environment, completing tasks such as:
- Operating production machinery and/or working on an assembly line
- Packing products and preparing orders
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Working collaboratively to meet daily production targets
- General manufacturing duties to support daily production
What We Offer:
- Competitive pay $24 - $27 per hour
- Day, Afternoon and Night shifts available

What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or machine operation (advantage)
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting (up to 20-25kg)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
- Own reliable transport
- Willingness to work in a rotating roster of 12-hour shifts
- Full working rights in New Zealand
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
