We are currently seeking reliable and capable individuals to work in our Papanui-based Factory.
About us:
Verkerks is a family-owned and Christchurch-based NZ company that has been producing quality salami and smallgoods products for three generations.
What type of work would you be doing?
You will be working in a team in our Slice and Pack department, performing a range of tasks from boxing products to operating our industrial slicers and packing machines.
What are the hours of work?
40 hours a week, generally between the hours of 6am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Our Ideal Candidate is:
- Physically fit and strong, able to lift between 10-25kg on a regular basis
- Used to working in a cold environment (around 6 degrees)
- Reliable and organised, always turning up to work on time
- Willing to speak up when they have a suggestion to make or a problem to raise
