Production Operator
We are seeking, motivated, safety focused Production Operators to join our client in the Hillsborough area. Producing quality and reliable plasterboard products, this role will see you responsible for the processes involved in the manufacturing environment.

About the role:
As a machine operator you will be working as part of a team, operating machinery to ensure continuous production. This includes identifying faults and quality assurance.
At times you will be using a forklift and gantry crane (experience is a bonus but don't worry, full training will be provided).

- Plant operation within manufacturing crews
- Process control, following all operating procedures correctly
- Operating machines and replenishing lines
- General manufacturing duties
- Routine checks of plant operations
- Computer-controlled equipment
About you:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment useful but not essential
- Forklift licence and current NZ driver's licence a bonus
- High degree of mechanical aptitude and technical problem solving
- Physically fit and the ability to safely handle heavy equipment and product
- Good written and verbal communication skills and numerical calculations
- Self-motivated and able to work within a team
- Safe work practices and Health & Safety awareness
As part of our committment to Health and Safety all staff must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen as well as a MOJ check
After your initial training period you MUST be willing to work on a rotating roster:
4 days on 4 days off - 2 day shifts (7am to 7pm), then 2 night shifts (7pm to 7am)
