Due to continued growth, opportunities are now available for a Machine Operator to join their production team based in Christchurch. These roles will play a key part in supporting a newly established afternoon shift.
About the Role
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm, with some flexibility required to meet operational needs.
You will be responsible for operating and monitoring automated, high-performance packaging lines, ensuring products are produced efficiently, safely, and to a consistently high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery to meet output targets
- Ensure products meet quality and food safety standards
- Identify and troubleshoot basic equipment or process issues
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Follow standard operating procedures and health & safety requirements
- Work collaboratively with team members and escalate issues when required
- Assist with cleaning, changeovers, and general line upkeep
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience machine operating in a manufacturing or production environmen
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- A reliable attendance record
- Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Practical problem-solving ability and mechanical aptitude
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
