Description
Nautilus Braids Ltd is a rope manufacturing company who are looking for a new full-time member to join the team. We manufacture high performance synthetic ropes that service a variety of sectors including commercial and leisure marine, agricultural and industrial. We are looking for someone who is a team player, willing to try their hand at new things, be hands-on and innovative.
This role would include:
- Configuring machinery at the beginning of manufacturing runs.
- Monitoring machinery during production to ensure correct operation.
- Packaging of finished product on reels for dispatch.
- Monitoring stock levels of finished products.
Our ideal candidate would be someone who is:
- Mechanically minded and is keen for hands-on work. -Physically fit and able to handle large boxes/ cones of yarn etc.
- Experienced in textile manufacturing or processing environment.
- A team player who can fit in with a small team environment.
- Fluent in English
- Full NZ Drivers License -Forklift and first aid training would be an advantage.
Full training on the operation and maintenance of our machinery will be given to the successful candidate, no experience or qualifications are required.
