Clothesline Fabricator and Factory technician

We take pride in what we build and we genuinely enjoy coming to work — and we are looking for someone who feels the same way about doing something they enjoy through their work. What the role involves: Light-duty steel fabrication (punching, crimping, notching, cutting, linishing, bending) and a small amount of welding Using a computer as part of your day-to-day workflow Who we're looking for: Someone with solid experience in steel/engineering or welding — we'll get you up to speed on our specific processes, but the foundational skills need to already be there Understanding/experience of workshops and warehouses. May need to help out with other warehousing and product fulfillment tasks from time to time in busy periods Once you're trained, we do expect tasks to be completed at a good pace — we're a productive team and rhythm matters A self starter, who values time and strives to add value in whatever they put their attention to An eye for detail — accuracy and consistency is important because our products go straight to customers Comfortable and quick on a computer Physically capable for hands-on work Based in or able to reliably get to Woodend, Ravenswood Forklift license needed - or we could arrange to help you get it
