About the Company:
Aerowork delivers precision aerial fertiliser application to support New Zealand’s hill-country farmers. With a nationwide fleet of 13 GPS-equipped aircraft, 35+ loader trucks, and a full in-house engineering team designing and maintaining specialised aircraft components, we operate one of the most capable aerial spreading networks in the country. As a 100% Ravensdown-owned subsidiary, Aerowork plays an essential role in helping rural communities grow stronger, safer, and more productive.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Aircraft Loader Driver (officially titled, Agri Fixed Wing Ground Support) to join the team at Ravensdown Aerowork.
Based in Rangiora and supporting the wider surrounding area, you’ll play a key part in loading and refuelling our fixed‑wing aircraft safely and efficiently. You’ll also help move loader vehicles between sites and carry out general mobile plant maintenance to keep everything running smoothly.
We’re looking for someone who brings flexibility and enjoys a role where no two days are the same. Hours vary, are weather‑dependent, and will include weekend work. If you’re passionate about aviation and/or agriculture, enjoy operating heavy machinery, and thrive working outdoors, we’d love to hear from you.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Ideally previous Loader Driver or Truck Driving experience
- Experience handling heavy machinery
- Flexibility and availability to respond to business requirements and weather conditions
- A commitment to safety and quality
- Great communication skills
If you have a class 2 or 4 license and DG endorsement that's an advantage, but if not, we can provide the training to get you there as long as you have a positive, can-do attitude.
