About You

• MUST have previous experience in Sawmill Operations
• Health and Safety focus
• Be physically fit
• Be a team player
• Able to quickly learn the company's production cycle
• Able to rotate with teammates on six machine centers during your daily shifts. This includes the De-Barker, Primary Breakdown Saw, Primary Re-Saw, Edger, Secondary Saw, and Grading Station.
• Successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test

Your Tasks

• Ensure that you follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with the operation of machine centers as required and directed.
• Meet all grade quality specifications as required by the company at all work centers, at all times.
• Ensure the continuous operation of plant and equipment, including ensuring good communication with the Sawmill Team Leader on all issues is maintained at all times.
• Ensure that all production processes are performed in a manner that contributes to the manufacture of high-grade products and complies with the Company's health and safety policies and procedures.
• Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by the Manager, from time to time, in order to ensure the continuous operation of the business.
• Ensure the work area, you are assigned to, is clean and tidy to NPL standards.

• Highly competitive hourly rate $33.00/hour
• A minimum of 40 hours per week is guaranteed (Our core hours are Mon-Thurs 6:30am-4pm, Fri 6:30am-10:30am)
