CNC Operator

• $28 - $30 p/h
• Monday to Friday day shift

Were on the hunt for a CNC Operator and a Press Break Operator using machinery to fold, form, and shape steel components. This role suits someone who knows their way around sheet metal, enjoys precision work, and can keep production running smoothly.

$30 per hour Monday to Friday dayshift Modern Safe factory with room to learn other areas of the production

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating CNC or press break machines safely and efficiently
• Folding, forming or cutting steel components to precise specifications
• Working with steel to 5mm+ thickness
• Able to read job cards and plans
• Quality checking finished components to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Assisting in general workshop and production duties when required

What Were Looking For:

• Experience operating a CNC machine, Press Break machine, or similar sheet-metal machinery
• Strong understanding of measurements, angles, and folding tolerances confidently follow production specs
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work well in a team
• Good attitude and willingness to learn new processes

You MUST have eligibility to work in NZ, no student Visas or overseas applications due to the immediate start and ongoing nature this role may offer. All candidates must have a clean criminal check and have experience in a press operating role ideal or similar machine operating roles
