Kiln/Boiler Operator – Claymark: Te Kuiti

We are looking for a highly energetic person to work within our Te Kuiti Drying Operation. Key aspects to this role are a relentless commitment to quality, a drive to increase productivity and commitment to achieving a safe and healthy workplace.

Reporting to the Yard Co Ordinator, your absolute focus will be on maintaining the highest standards in our Kiln drying operation. The ideal candidate for this position will have a qualification in boiler attendance and experience in wood residue fired energy plants/kiln drying. However, the right candidate may not have experience in these areas but will have mechanical aptitude, be comfortable operating and monitoring machinery using IT equipment and a get up and go attitude. Also, an advantage would be a loader/forklift license. You must work well within a team and have great communication skills, along with an impressive safety record.

This is position involves rotating shifts with two other team members based on 40 hours/week with stand-by and call outs.
