ANZCO Foods Eltham as looking for a Production Supervisor who will be able to ensure operating efficiencies are maximised and maintained. This is a permanent full-time position reporting to the Shift Production Manager.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Provide strong leadership and supervision to team members to ensure production plans and company specifications are consistently achieved.
- Coordinate and allocate labour resources effectively to meet operational demands.
- Drive and maintain operational efficiency and productivity within the department.
- Ensure all employees receive appropriate training and development to perform their roles competently and to a consistently high standard
- Manage personnel matters promptly, professionally, and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Maximise the cost-effective utilisation of labour and production resources
- Take responsibility for pre- and post-operative hygiene inspections and results, ensuring all Quality Control programmes are effectively maintained
- Foster and maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with established processes, procedures, and health and safety standards
- Liaise closely with the Engineering department regarding maintenance requirements and any necessary plant or machinery modifications
- Ensure all departmental documentation and administrative requirements are completed accurately and within designated timeframes
Skills and experience we are looking for:
- At least 3 years in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proven people management and leadership skills with a commitment to positive employment relationships
- Proven commitment to quality and safety
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- Strong computer skills
