Junior Welder / Fabricator – Part Time

Envirocon is looking for a Junior Welder / Fabricator to join our workshop in Penrose. This role involves basic welding and fabrication work, including preparing steel components and carrying out light repairs on concrete moulds used in our manufacturing operations. Part-time position: approximately 20 hours per week. Start and finish times may vary, and occasional Saturday morning work may be required. Key Duties Cutting steel bars and fabrication components

Welding washers and nuts onto bars

Grinding and finishing parts

Light repairs and maintenance on concrete moulds

General workshop duties

Requirements Basic MIG welding experience

Welding certification or relevant training preferred

Experience using grinders, drills, and metal saws

Reliable, practical, and safety-conscious

Forklift licence beneficial (not essential)
