Location: Christchurch, New Zealand Employment Type: Full-time (minimum 30 hours per week) Remuneration: NZD $30.00 – $35.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
About the Company New Era Group Ltd is a well-established manufacturer specialising in aluminium louvres, windows, and doors. The company is known for delivering high-quality, tailored metal solutions to commercial and industrial clients across New Zealand. To support business growth and strengthen our market presence in the South Island, particularly Christchurch, we are seeking a Sales Representative to join our team.
Key Responsibilities The role focuses on business-to-business (B2B) industrial sales, with responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Developing and expanding the Christchurch-based market for aluminium louvres, windows, doors, and related metal products.
- Identify and manage relationships with construction companies, developers, architects, and other industry clients.
- Promote and sell aluminium louvres, windows, doors, and related metal products.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales agreements.
- Coordinate with production and installation teams to ensure client requirements are met.
- Provide ongoing after-sales service and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support sales strategies and business development planning.
- Achieving agreed sales targets while maintaining strong compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or a related field OR
- At least 2 years of relevant industrial or B2B sales experience.
- Strong understanding of industrial products and the full sales cycle from production to after-sales service.
- Experience selling to business and industry clients (not retail).
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
