Weft Knitting Company Ltd is a privately owned dynamic family-run business based in Christchurch. We manufacture high-quality knitwear and thermalwear for domestic and international markets under our Noble Wilde brand. With a focus on innovative, sustainable products, we serve the fashion, tourist, outdoor, and rural industries, specialising in Possum Merino, 100% Merino and Thermalwear.
Our team of 70 is central to our success, and we’re dedicated to maintaining a supportive, collaborative work environment.
We are seeking someone with a good eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect garments to ensure they meet Weft’s high-quality standards.
- Ticketing and packaging of garments.
- Perform quality control checks on both garments and knitted accessories.
- Clothing and sewing experience is preferred, but not essential.
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week.
