Logistics and Production Coordinator

About the Role: Mt. Beautiful Wines is a family-owned North Canterbury winery producing ultra-premium wines for international and local markets. From our 85-hectare estate vineyard, we grow and craft Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Rose and Pinot Gris, combining meticulous vineyard work with efficient production and logistics to bring world-class wines from vine to bottle. We’re seeking an experienced Logistics and Production Coordinator to support our wine operations with the role commencing in February. This Self-Employed / Contractor role is flexible and involves overseeing production, inventory, labelling, and logistics. The ideal candidate has wine industry experience, international export knowledge, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Key Responsibilities: o Coordinate bottling and production schedules. o Manage inventory, dry goods ordering, and BOMs. o Oversee label processes (design, compliance, approvals, printing). o Create batches in MPI and maintain traceability. o Conduct sensory sampling and arrange chemical testing. o Process purchase orders, prepare export documentation, and liaise with freight forwarders. o Track shipments, manage export certifications, and support audits. Requirements: o Wine industry experience in production, labelling, and logistics. o Proficient in MS Office. o Strong organisational and communication skills. o Ability to work independently with variable hours.
