Our client, New Zealand Aluminium Smelter (NZAS), is undertaking a significant project to rebuild and replace its Carbon Bake Furnaces over the next 12 months.

We are seeking industrial labourers to complete the project on-site at Tiwai Aluminium Smelter, located 20 minutes from Invercargill.

The project will involve the demolition and removal of old flues as well as assisting in the rebuild and placement of the new ones. This project has potential career opportunities after completion.

You will need to possess the following:

• A strong safety focus
• Be physically fit and must be able to work in an environment that at times can be hot and dusty (appropriate personal protective equipment will be provided)
• Pass a pre-employment drug test as well as a robust medical and physical examination
• Have great references and a consistent work history
• Positive and proven team player who can work safely and constructively with others
• Minimal criminal history
