We are looking for a reliable Precast Concrete Operator to work independently at our Horotiu yard in Hamilton.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day production of precast concrete blocks and keeping the site clean, safe, and well organised.
Key responsibilities:
Screening inbound concrete
Manufacturing, demoulding, and quality checking precast blocks
Cleaning and oiling moulds and equipment
General yard and site cleaning
Forklift operation and daily equipment checks
Liaising with management and concrete truck drivers
About you:
Able to work independently and manage your own workload
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Forklift licence preferred
Good communication skills
Own transport and flexible with start/finish times
Precast or concrete industry experience is an advantage
What’s on offer:
$25 per hour (negotiable)
Full-time role (31–40 hours per week)
Some Saturday work required
