Production & Manufacturing Operator
Location: Naenae, Lower Hutt Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time Pay: Competitive hourly rate (based on skills and experience)
This is a permanent, full-time role with long-term career opportunities. We are looking for reliable production workers to join a factory team. This role suits someone who wants long term, stable work and is happy doing the same tasks every day.
Please note:
- The work is repetitive
- Daily tasks are very similar
- The work is basic, routine, and structured
What You Will Be Doing:
- Making and packing products by following written instructions
- Measuring, weighing, mixing, and batch making products
- Filling, labelling, and boxing containers
- Completing basic paperwork and batch sheets
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders
- Following health and safety rules
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy
- Helping with general factory and warehouse tasks
What We Are Looking For:
- Reliable and punctual
- Happy doing repetitive work
- Good reading and writing skills
- Basic maths skills (measuring and weighing)
- Hard working with a positive attitude
- Team player
- Comfortable with hands-on work
Experience (Helpful but Not Essential):
- Factory, production, or batch making work
- Forklift licence
- Basic computer skills
