Regarded as the best in the business, we are a NZ owned specialist manufacturer of soft furnishings for the tourism, transport and furniture industries. Our customers include some of these industries most recognised brands. The key ingredients we work with are foam, fabric, fibre and feathers.
The focus of this entry level role will be learning basic upholstery skills, primarily fitting fabric covers on squabs and cushions and other process orientated tasks that arise.
We will teach you all the skills you need to be successful. The other skills you will need that we can’t teach are:
- Fit and able to be standing and moving all day and the ability to lift up to 30kg.
- Great attitude and motivated to deliver excellent quality
- Happy to take direction and work independently
- Excellent communication skills, most importantly the ability to listen and speak up
- Reliable and committed to being a great team member
Other qualifications/experience
- Full clean drivers licence preferred
- Previous experience within the upholstery, fabric or garment industry would be advantageous, but not essential.
What we offer:

- A great pay starting pay rate of $24/hour and then moving to $27.00 after training.
- Weekly pay and standard 40 hours per week (Mon – Thurs 7:30 – 4:30 and Friday 7:30 – 2:00)
- Overtime rates during our busy season which may involve some weekend work
- Convenient West Auckland location with onsite parking
