  • Execute process improvement implementation, working closely with the production team.
  • Bridge the gap between fabrication or production and keeping systems updated by working with our inventory management system to ensure this matches finished goods produced.

  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in high-precision steel fabrication via cutting and welding processes.
  • Systems Knowledge: Experience with SAP or similar ERP inventory management systems and ability to update existing spreadsheets on a computer, ideally within a heavy machinery or automotive context.
  • Manufacturing Background: Solid experience in production line work, understanding one piece flow.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to troubleshoot processes and eliminate waste.
  • Documentation: Technical writing skills for SOPs and process mapping.
  • Education: Hands on experience with relevant manufacturing or fabrication work, or equivalent high-level technical certification.
  • Inventory: Understanding of warehousing and how the flow of goods enables lean production.

Personal Qualities:

  • Enthusiastic and committed; a ‘Make it happen’ attitude.
  • Organized, tidy, and a disciplined team player.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to Futura’s innovative technology.

You must have the right to work within New Zealand currently.
